It’s safe to say that bad days are something we all go through and sometimes they’re out of your control. What’s in your control though is how you go about that bad day and whether or not you look for ways to turn it into a better one and boost your mood.
Sometimes just turning off the lights, closing your eyes and letting yourself drift into a well-needed sleep to lead you into a new day can be the antidote for an unsettling day. But not always are we able to just end the day, especially if we’re still early on into it. So for the days that we can’t just sleep away the negativity, it’s important to find positive ways to deal with those emotions and make way for a happier mindset for your day.

It Will Get Better
I practice many of these on my off-feeling days, especially when sleep at that present time isn’t an option. Sometimes all we need are small practices to pick ourselves back up juuust enough to tackle the rest of that day and go to bed with a little more happiness in our hearts.
Life will always have its tricks to play and stones to throw, but you have the ability to decide whether or not it can break you or motivate you. I hope out of these 25 ways to boost your mood at least a couple of these will shift your mood and help get you through the rest of the day. But if by some unfortunate turn out they don’t, just remind yourself that tomorrow is a new day, full of new experiences and opportunities and that a bad day doesn’t mean it’s a bad life.
